Official summary, as published
This document is a summary of statements by seven US PERSONs employed by the federal government who separately reported observing several unidentified anomalous phenomena in the western United States over the course of two days in 2023. The summary notes the US PERSONS reported four distinct categories of experiences, including observing “orbs launching other orbs” at a distance, observing a large stationary glowing orb at close estimated range, pursuing a large phenomenon near the ground, and observing a large, seemingly transparent phenomenon, reported to being akin to a “translucent kite.” Although there is no technical data directly associated with this report, contextual factors — such as these events sharing features with others reported to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the reporters’ credibility, and the potentially anomalous nature of the events themselves — combine to make this report among the most compelling within AARO’s current holdings.

Our reading
READ FIRSTFour slides on what seven federal law enforcement special agents reported over two days in 2023 near a restricted area in the western U.S.: orange orbs releasing groups of red orbs at dusk, at least five times; a glowing orb by a rock pinnacle that AARO later put at about 1,050 m away and 12 to 18 m across; and two pre-dawn kite-shaped objects, one of which seemed to stop a spotlight beam. The official summary calls it among the most compelling reports in AARO's holdings. Release 03 adds the case analysis and the agents' narratives.
Three separate measures, each with its reason. They are never added into a score.
E Evidence 2 of 3
Seven federal special agents in separate teams over two days; AARO later measured range and size of one object, but no sensor data is attached.
N Novelty 3 of 3
No earlier publication found in this task; searches returned only post-release copies and coverage.
L Linkage 2 of 3
Names AARO, which took later measurements and holds the case.
